We hoped to inspire conversation\u2014and action\u2014around advancing the leadership and well-being of women and girls globally.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Notable speakers, including <\/span><b>Henrietta Fore,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Co-Founder, Radiate Capital; Former Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development; <strong>Lola Adedokun<\/strong>, Executive Director of Aspen Global Innovators Group; <\/span><b>Yasmin Madan, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Director and US Lead for Philanthropic Collaboration, Co-Impact; <\/span><b>Lauren Rumble<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Associate Director, Gender Equality, UNICEF; and<\/span><b> Evana Oli <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Co-Founder and Mom-in-Chief, Beautiful Curly Me, shared their invaluable insights during the session. The panel discussion expertly moderated by <strong>Hala Hanna<\/strong>, Executive Director of MIT Solve.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Women play an incredible yet underrepresented role in shaping the global health innovation landscape. Despite pivotal contributions to transformative inventions and advancements, only 28% of the workforce in science and engineering in the United States are women, with a mere 17% receiving venture capital support. This Women&#8217;s History Month, the Aspen Global Innovators Group and MIT Solve brought you to celebrate and commemorate the work of women in innovation, highlighting female social entrepreneurs who are addressing critical issues in health, climate, education, and economics.
