It Is A Support!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our 2026 Healthy Communities Fellow and CEO of Unidos Contra la Diabetes, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aspenglobalinnovators.org\/our_fellows\/moises-arjona-jr\/\">Moises Arjona, Jr.<\/a>, recently published a piece on GLP-1 medications&#8217; importance as a tool but not a solution to the diabetes crisis.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>He argues that, &#8220;There is no doubt these medications can deliver real, life-saving results. But as we\u2019ve established, they are not a silver bullet. My concern is that many patients do not fully understand how to use GLP-1\u2019s effectively as part of a long-term health strategy. These drugs are not cures; they are supports.
