Tulsa’s First Office of Health and Well-Being

Last Wednesday, August 20th, Mayor Monroe Nichols announced Tulsa’s first Office of Health and Well-Being. The Office will link healthcare, education, economic opportunity, and public safety to help all Tulsans thrive. Our Senior Healthy Communities Fellow Dr. Jabraan Pasha will serve as a Chief Health Officer for the Office.

District 4 City Councilor and our Senior Healthy Communities Fellow Laura Bellis emphasized that city government has a responsibility to support healthy families, neighborhoods, and the economy, noting that creating an office to strengthen public health infrastructure is vital to the community’s well-being.
