Global Collaborative is an initiative of Aspen Global Innovators Group, Partners in Health, and University of Global Health Equity.
The Communities First Global Collaborative (“Global Collaborative”) supports community leaders who have been instrumental in tackling health inequities globally and building or transforming public health systems. Global Collaborative’s vision is to build a collective voice of community leaders to influence plans, policies, and movements in the fight to strengthen public health and community health systems. We believe that true transformation of health systems for all can only take place through connection, collaboration, and deep commitment to local leadership and inclusive leadership development.
The collaborative supports community leaders in three ways:
Global Academy for Health Systems Resilience
Building on Partners in Health (PIH)’s extensive experience and leveraging the University of Global Health Equity in Rwanda (UGHE), collaboratively we have launched the Global Academy for Health Systems Resilience which serves as a center of excellence in upgrading, knowledge, skills and systems for leaders to effectively prevent and/or respond to crises and accelerate health systems
Facilitating Innovation
Leaders in the Collaborative will have the opportunity to share innovative ideas through peer-to-peer dialogues, virtual exchanges, and participation in global convenings.
Public Series
Through the partnership, participants will engage in learning opportunities and virtual convenings. Results from these discussions will include the development of working papers with actionable solutions to develop, replicate and scale community-led solutions.
The Communities First Global Collaborative consists of a over 50,000 multi-sectoral leaders and institutions
