Myshkin Ingawale is a seasoned innovator, product strategist, and entrepreneur with a track record of building and scaling impact-driven technologies across sectors—from robotics and IoT to public health, AgTech, and nanotechnology. Currently, as Innovation Officer at the Institut Català de Nanociència i Nanotecnologia (ICN2), Myshkin collaborates with cutting-edge researchers to bridge the gap between lab discoveries and real-world applications in nanoscience and nanotechnology.


Before joining ICN2, Myshkin served as a Strategic Advisor to startups, helping early-stage ventures navigate product-market fit, business development, and M&A opportunities. He previously led product development at INSYLO Technologies, working at the intersection of AgTech and IoT, and at Facebook’s Emerging Worlds group, where he tackled critical challenges in emerging markets through innovative software and hardware solutions.


As the founder of I2U2 Robot, Myshkin developed a mobile device-powered consumer robot that won the Dell-YourStory Startup Challenge and was later acquired by Milagrow, India’s largest consumer robotics company. His entrepreneurial journey also includes serving as Chief of Staff at Xiaomi India, where he supported leadership in scaling operations during a period of exponential growth.
A TED Senior Fellow (2012–2013), Myshkin’s work reflects a passion for leveraging technology to address pressing global challenges. His expertise spans business strategy, early-stage startups, product management, and building strategic partnerships, with a particular focus on creating solutions for the emerging world. Myshkin co-founded Biosense, an internationally recognized med-tech company designing and building innovative, disruptive healthcare technologies. Notably, ToucHb, a needle-free blood hemoglobin testing device, and uChek, a mobile phone app and accessory that converts the smartphone into a medical-grade lab machine equivalent. He holds a PhD in Management Information Systems from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Ingawale is one of the designers of the “Copenhagen Wheel” electric bike, which won the James Dyson Award for design, and co-author of the book “The Unreasonable Fellows,” a compilation of stories of social entrepreneurs from around the world.
