Jane Otai is a senior program advisor for Jhpiego – an affiliate of the Johns Hopkins University – in Nairobi, Kenya. Ms. Otai has vast experience working with communities living in the urban informal settlements in Kenya. Currently working with various partners on programs that increase access to critical health services to women, adolescents and children, she has witnessed the challenges faced by women and youth in accessing reproductive health services including family planning. Through the years, Jane has come up with innovative ways of ensuring communities have accurate information about health and are able to make informed decisions. She is also an author on HuffPost.
