Bowel Diop

Bowel Diop is a Senegalese specialist in social economy, with deep expertise in project financing and fundraising. Passionately committed to advancing the rights of girls and women in Africa, she has managed innovation funds and evaluated over 250 projects across the continent. She has successfully mobilized more than $2 million to support inclusive entrepreneurship and sustainable development initiatives.

She is the founder of Yittë, an African feminist platform that combines information-sharing and empowerment. Yittë amplifies the voices of African women through articles, podcasts (in French and local languages), and practical tools for entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and personal growth. The platform stands out for its inclusive approach and its commitment to making knowledge accessible to communities at the grassroots.

As an agroecological entrepreneur through Naangue SARL, Bowel also promotes sustainable and equitable development models centered on women’s empowerment. A dynamic and thoughtful speaker, she merges analytical depth with practical strategies for social transformation. Whatever hat she wears, her ambition remains the same: to create lasting social and environmental impact for the people she encounters along her journey.

Bowel Diop, spécialiste en économie sociale et solidaire  sénégalaise experte en conception de projets et levée de fonds, engagée pour les droits des filles et des femmes en Afrique. Ancienne Directrice des Programmes Makesense Afrique, elle a mobilisé 2M$ et géré un fonds d’innovation de 112M FCFA. Experte-conseil, elle pilote des projets d’autonomisation économique. Entrepreneuse en agroécologie (Naangue SARL), elle construit des modèles de développement équitables centrés sur les droits des femmes.
