Renard Siew

Renard Siew is an environmental activist and climate leader in ASEAN working with marginalized and displaced communities. He currently acts as climate change adviser to the Centre for Governance and Political Studies (CENT-GPS) in Malaysia, where he is responsible for advancing the organisation’s work in the field of climate change and sustainability. He was recently elected the youngest co-lead for the Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction Group of the Global Young Academy, a network of top notch global scientists working towards making a positive impact in the world. He was the Co-Chair of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)-FI’s Commitment Towards Climate Action working group representing developing countries.
