Sathya Raghu is the Co-founder and President at Cosmos Green & Kheyti, organizations with small farmer focus that he set up after quitting his corporate job. Kheyti, an end-to-end technology and market solutions provider for small and marginal farmers. Cosmos Green works towards the emancipation of small and marginal farmers from poverty by using an inclusive development model of partnership with farmers. Sathya has changed the lives of 1500 small farmers through trainings on sustainable farming and 200 farmers with market linkages which have resulted in a 40% cost reduction for them. His startups in agriculture many global awards including Global Social Venture Competition, CommonBond Award, Kellogg Social Venture Award, Columbia Technology Challenge and the like. Interestingly, he is a passionate teacher who spends his leisure igniting smart learning through a digital education platform called IndigoLearn. He is also an enthusiastic teacher at Spellbound Academy who has facilitated learning in subjects including: Accounting, Auditing and Finance for over 18,000 students across India. He is a 2014 Acumen India Fellow and is on the board of the Telangana Rythu Producer Company. In 2017, he and his cofounder were awarded ‘Acumen Emerging Entrepreneur award’ for their work at Kheyti.
In 2022, Sathya and Kheyti won the prestigious Earthshot Prize.
