Vivian

Vivian Maduekeh is a Management Consultant with deep expertise in sustainable food systems, global health, and international development. Vivian has worked in cross-functional roles in the private sector, research, policy, and non-profit setting. Her work currently focuses on integrated policies and practice on food, climate, and health.

Vivian founded Food Health Systems Advisory, an advisory firm focused on Africa. She currently consults for the Global Alliance for the Future of Food, an alliance of philanthropic foundations working together and with others to transform global food systems. She leads their work on climate and health, food justice, health equity, and ultraprocessed foods.

Past work experiences include Partners in Food Solutions,World Health Organization, Hygeia HMO, and a UK Department for International Development health project.

Vivian is a Doctoral Researcher at the Center for Food Policy, City University of London. She holds an MSc in International Health and Tropical Medicine from the University of Oxford, and a BSc. (Hons) in Food Science and Technology for the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike.

Vivian is a senior food security fellow at the Aspen Institute, and a board member at the Lagos Food Bank Initiative.
