At Les idées d'Aspen : Santé, our Founder and Interim Executive Director Peggy Clark joined a compelling panel with Apoorva Mandavilli, Joseph Betancourt, and Senior New Voices Fellow Mohamed Aburawi to spotlight innovative models of care emerging from Africa, Asia, and Latin America—models that often offer more effective, community-rooted solutions than those in wealthier nations.

Peggy emphasized the importance of shifting our perspective. She said, “We need to challenge ourselves on where the expertise lies—where the solutions lie. And the power of proximity and a culture of understanding are fundamental to health.”
