Edinah Masiyiwa is a nurse, midwife and is the Executive Director of a women’s rights organization in Zimbabwe called Women’s Action Group with over two decades of experience in program design, development, and management, specializing in sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and gender equality. She has led SRHR advocacy efforts and mentored emerging women leaders. Her academic background includes an Advanced Certificate in SRHR, a Master of Science in Development, and a bachelor’s degree in Adult Education. She actively participates in boards and councils, such as the Global Fund in Zimbabwe and the Women’s COVID-19 Response. Her work has earned recognition from organizations like Gender Links and SAfAIDS. Edinah is also an Aspen Institute New Voices Senior Fellow.
