Noor is a physician with additional training in public health and nutrition with over 15 years of experience practicing medicine, conducting public health research, and managing programs in Africa. His focus is primarily on nutrition and especially the implementation of large-scale nutrition programs focusing on women, adolescents, and children. Dr. Noor has worked with various teams and field sites across Africa, supporting capacity building, organizations and systems to undertake research, training, and programs, in close collaboration with global partners. He has increasing zeal and competence in designing, testing, and delivery of integrated interventions for improving nutrition and health of women and children in resource-limited settings. Noor is currently finalizing his doctoral program in Nutrition Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public of Health and a Research Scientist at Africa Academy for Public Health in Tanzania. Noor has worked as an independent consultant Nutrition Epidemiologist for the World Bank, supporting the Tanzania government program in Investing in Early Years (IEY)/ Early Child Development Program.
