Sheyda Brown is a strategist, facilitator, and political organizer who helps organizations and communities move from vision to impact. With over 12 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, she specializes in designing community-centered programs, building coalitions, and aligning strategy with action to advance racial and economic equity.

Sheyda has led efforts that secured wage increases, unlocked millions in federal and philanthropic investments, and achieved meaningful policy reforms. Through her role at Common Future as Director of Programs, she drives impact through meaningful national programming focused on economic justice issues. Through her personal consulting practice, she partners with foundations, nonprofits, and grassroots leaders to strengthen operations, engage communities, and create strategies that drive lasting change.

She holds a Master of Social Work, completed Harvard Kennedy School’s Leadership, Organizing, and Action program, and is a 2022 Aspen Institute Fellow, 2021 New Leaders Council Fellow, and TEDx speaker.
